Regular Programming for Children and Youth
Children and youth are an important and valued part of the St. John’s parish family. For our youngest members under three years old, a fully staffed nursery is available during the 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services (10:00 a.m. during the month of July). St. John’s Children’s Ministry consists of many lively, spirit-filled activities and classes for children from three years of age through 5th grade, including Sunday School, which takes place during the 9:15 a.m. service (10:00 a.m. during the month of July). At Sunday School, children meet in the Parish Hall for an age-appropriate, Bible-based lesson. After some fun, a craft, and a snack, the children come into the Church to join their parents for Communion. We also have a monthly Family Service. Please check our calendar for dates.
EYC, or Episcopal Youth Community, is our youth group, and all youth (grades 6 through 12) are welcome! The groups are designed to give youth a place where they can have fun, meet life-long friends, be supported, and deepen their faith in Christ. Growing in maturity and in faith is easier and more fun when we grow together!
During the summer, St. John’s partners with Cornerstone Kids at St. James House of Prayer to present Vacation Bible School.
