John was born and raised in Tampa and has been a member of St. John’s Church for over 30 years. He is a lifelong Episcopalian, having grown up as a member of St. Andrew’s and St. Mary’s churches and is a multi-generation member of St. John’s. His parents were married at St. John’s in 1959, John and his wife Trish were married at St. John’s in 1994, and their daughter Jamie was married at St. John’s in 2020.
John has served as an usher at various services for over 25 years and has served twice on the Finance Committee. He has also participated in the Fathers Ministry and every member canvass. John’s wife Trish serves on second Sunday Altar Guild and has taught Sunday School. Together they have participated in several other activities including Sandwich Sunday and Dinner Group.
Professionally, after almost 40 years in banking, accounting and real estate, John recently started his own consulting practice providing financial services to real estate developers and special taxing districts.
John has been involved in many community activities over the years, including volunteering at Jamie’s elementary, middle and high school clubs and organizations and has recently served on the H.B. Plant Museum Board of Trustees.
