And what I say unto you I say to all: watch.
….That to enjoy eternal life with God, we have to receive that salvation, accept the spirit, and be born from above, anew, again, from the heart.
Today we celebrate the day above all days in our faith. This is the day we remember and proclaim the foundational event of our faith: the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.
This is the night. This is the night when we gather as God’s people to hear the stories of salvation history. The stories that teach us who we are, who’s we are, what we believe, what our God is like.
Heart space reminds us that we cannot solve problems from the same level of consciousness from which they were created.
This beautiful passage from John’s Gospel moves us from the very ‘down-to-earth’ birth narrative of Luke…to the cosmic event that John celebrates so poetically.
It’s not up to you to save the world. God has already done that.
Christ is risen, but we are also raised in Christ.
