Sunday Formation
Children’s Chapel
During each week’s 9:30 a.m. service during the school year, from the Gospel procession to the Peace, Children’s Chapel takes place in the Parish Hall. Children begin in the main service in the Church with their parents, and then follow an acolyte out to the Parish Hall before the Gospel procession.
Children’s Chapel is a kid-friendly version of the liturgy from the main service. Children and leaders sing a few songs, hear a children’s sermon, and have a child-led Prayers of the People. The children return to the main service at the Peace.
Sunday School
All Children and Youth Sunday School participants (Pre-K through 12th graders) come up to receive Communion first during the school year (except the fourth Sunday of the month). They then exit into the Parish Office hallway and check in at the Sunday School check-in table near the office door. After check in, students go to their respective Sunday School classrooms.
