The removal of the carpet from the sanctuary this summer resulted in enhanced acoustics, and the Choir of St. John’s will present a concert of choral favorites to celebrate the new sound. The concert, which will take place on Sunday, October 13, at 5:00 p.m., will feature works by Olivier Messiaen, Robert Parsons, Sir Edward Bairstow, and Sir Charles Villiers Stanford. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Simon Morley will conduct and Ryan Hebert will be Guest Organist.
